#MIDDAYMEDITATION

TAKE FIVE MINUTES EVERY DAY @ 12:00 P.M. BREATHE SORROW (e.g. black smoke) IN & BREATHE HAPPINESS (e.g. white light) OUT – WHEREVER YOU ARE.

The practice behind

TONGLEN: THE PRACTICE OF GIVING AND TAKING.

In this practice, one visualizes taking in the sorrow of oneself and of others on the in-breath, and on the out-breath giving recognition, compassion, and succor to all sentient beings.

Notes

Start with a loved one, e.g. your mother, your father or your children or maybe your neighbor. Later, you can extend this practice – step by step – to all beings in the universe. Don't try it, do it!

You forgot the practice once? It doesn't matter, it's always 12:00 p.m. somewhere.

You are a smoker? Good as well! If you already want to smoke, then do it as a practice: Inhale the sorrow of all beings with the smoke and exhale happiness ;-) .

LET' S CHANGE THE LIFE!

The Sound Of #Middaymeditation

In love and memory of my Root Lama Chögyal Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche, who died on 27 September 2018:

»To produce a primary (karmic) cause which is potentially capable of having an effect, three things are necessary: intention, the actual action, and then satisfaction.« ― Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, Dzogchen: The Self-Perfected State
